About BRT

The BRT story begins where most great things start — with a problem that wouldn't stop nagging, and a stubborn refusal to accept the available solutions. We looked at the backpacks on the market and thought: these are good, but they're not great. They're not built for the kind of roaming we do.

Our Philosophy

Mountaineering isn't just a sport — it's a way of moving through the world with intention. Every ascent teaches you something about preparation, about trusting your gear, about the delicate balance between planning and improvisation. We bring that same philosophy to how we build.

That's not a slogan. That's the design brief.

The Gear

Every BRT pack is built around a simple idea: the gear should disappear. When you're on a ridge line at 4,000 meters, the last thing you should be thinking about is your backpack. It should carry what you need, protect it from the elements, and stay out of your way.

We design from the outside in — starting with the body in motion, then building the pack around it. The result is gear that feels like an extension of you, not a burden you're carrying.
